watch app alerts 'iPhone out of date' with iphone se2 & iOS 15.7.
This happens when pairing my new apple watch se(2022). I've tried pairing manually as well, doesn't work.

Problem solved. Turns out the latest watches require ios 16 or later and iphone 8 or later.
I was misguided because the watch app redirects me to an outdated page , where it says apple watch requires only ios 15 or later and iphone 6s or later.
