Troubleshooting a Home Screen Desktop Wallpaper:

A. Reset the Home Screen Layout:

If the background is not working as it should, then you need to reset the Home Screen Layout...

Go Here: Move and Organize Apps on iPhone - Apple Support

You'd have to add back all the widgets that you can recall being back on there. So, write down what is currently on the Home Screen.

Scroll to: Reset the Home Screen and Apps to their Original Layout

  1. Go to: Settings
  2. Tap: General
  3. Tap: Reset
  4. Tap: Reset Home Screen Layout
  5. Then... Add the apps back

B. Change the Background:

Try changing the background. See if everything then shows as it should. When locked, report back if it is blurred or not.

C. Report this to Apple:

Do your part: Let Apple know what is going on here. Provide them with feedback on this. They may not get back to you directly, but the more feedback they received on this, the more they will know what is going on, and what needs to be fixed in updates to come.

  1. Go Here: Feedback - iPhone - Apple
  2. Select: "Bug Report" for the "Feedback Type"
  3. Comment: that it is after installing the update when the issue began. Include the URL of this thread.
  4. Proceed from there aw necessary
