VERIZON - Transfer old phone number to eSIM

I had a problem activating the rain on a new iPhone 14 pro on Verizon. I went through a lot of painful online help with Verizon and even went to the Verizon store for help. In the end I used the chat service on the Verizon support page to get the eim imei number assigned to my new phone for my account. You can find that number n settings-general-about, page down to the esim section and the number is there. Remember you can copy and paste from your phone to any other Apple device signed into your Apple ID on the same Wi-Fi network so you won’t have to type out the number.

Verizon supposedly supports “Quick Transfer” to convert and/or move an already existing SIM to eSIM.
