Broken screen, need to recover voicenotes

Hello everyone,

I have a 7th gen ipod touch - consider it a very small ipad or consider it an iphone without phone service.

My screen is broken and I cannot put in my passcode, I've taken it to an Apple store to ask about service and as far as the hardware I would have to turn this one in to receive a replacement.

The problem is I have voicenotes of lectures that have not been backed up - Usually these are backed up when I connect to a laptop thru usb but this is not something I do regularly since I seldomly open itunes from my laptop.

What are my options? is there any way to gain access if I cant input my passcode so it can download automatically onto my laptop.

Is there a way to remotely access the voicenotes folder without the passcode?

When I go to my icloud account online all I am able to retrieve are pictures and videos, but no voicenotes.

iPod, iOS 15

Check local phone repair stores in your area. Some maybe able to replace your cracked screen on your existing iPod. Then you will probably be able to log in and retrieve your notes.
