most apps won't load on new iwatch 8

most of the apps won't load on my new iwatch 8, you can see them on the grid but they look like they are half loaded, you can click on the them and nothing happens

any ideas

Try removing them then putting them back.


From your iPhone go to the Watch app

Scroll down to the section "Installed on Apple Watch"

Tap on the app that is not loaded properly the toggle it off

Do this for all the apps not loading properly


Force restart your watch by holding in the side button and the digital crown for 10 seconds until you see the Apple logo, then release.


Once the watch boots back up and you enter your passcode go to the Watch app on your iPhone and go down the bottom of the App to the section "Available Apps" and tap install on the apps you want.
