Lightning Digital AV Adapter issue after iOS 16 upgrade

I posted on Amazon.

I’ve updated several times. Now at 16.1.1 and still have the same issue.

I have updated to IOS 16.2 still no audio. I know the rest of the components are okay they work with a phone and IPad running IOS 15.

I have since upgraded my OS to 16.2 suggested by the Apple tech, and I still don’t have volume.

It’s def ios16. Spent 0.5 hr on phone with Apple Tech help. Final resolution was for me to contact app developer. Hmmmmm thnx Apple

That place they send you might as well be a black hole for that is what it is. No app developer or anyone in Apple has acknowledged or is working on this issue. They obviously could care less.

Has anyone tried an HDMI Splitter like this:

iPhone streaming Prime or Paramount+ (or any app. currently not working) to Lightning to A/V Adaptor to HDMI Splitter Box to TV ?

Apparently there is just not enough of us users that Apple thinks it is enough for them to worry or care about. So until then they don’t give a ****.

This is so annoying! It’s been months and still no answers for all of us. A+ for apples customer service smh

Updated to 16.3 yesterday.

I can now watch Prime & Paramount+ with my Lightning to A/V adaptor.

Will try Hulu, HBO Max & CW tonight. Maybe Apple is fixing the issue ?

I did the system update to 16.3 and everything works perfectly again, even paramount plus! Do the update and see if that helps if you haven’t already. Good luck!

When you say "everything works perfectly again" does this include Netflix, Hulu, and Prime Video? Those are the ones that are not working for me.

What about Netflix, Hulu, and Prime Video? Have you tried those with the 16.3 update?

I had update 16.3 also, still have, worked a few hours. now I get picture then goes to pixelating, then whole screen disintegrates. still testing but frustrating.
