I upgraded my iPhone SE to iOS 16 and noticed that my Lightning Digital AV Adapter is no longer functioning properly. It either displays a picture without sound or it gives me sound without picture. Went through all the possible checks but no luck. I've tried a total of 3 Lightning Digital AV Adapters and all behave the same.
Anyone else noticing this?

Try connecting the adapter's lightning port to power. I had the same issue, used to work then stopped. Found an article suggesting proper connector connection order is necessary (https://www.technewstoday.com/lightning-digital-av-adapter-not-working/, includes other troubleshooting tips) but the only thing that mattered for me was adding a power cable to the lightning port.

Lightning Digital AV Adapter does not send any video from iPhone 14 Pro with iOS 16.1.2.. Frustrating as this affects my business.

I’ve updated several times. Now at 16.1.1 and still have the same issue.
I have updated to IOS 16.2 still no audio. I know the rest of the components are okay they work with a phone and IPad running IOS 15.
I have since upgraded my OS to 16.2 suggested by the Apple tech, and I still don’t have volume.
That place they send you might as well be a black hole for that is what it is. No app developer or anyone in Apple has acknowledged or is working on this issue. They obviously could care less.
Same! Ugh. I sure wish I had not updated my phone yesterday! All was working great until iOS 16.2 update.
Apparently there is just not enough of us users that Apple thinks it is enough for them to worry or care about. So until then they don’t give a ****.

When you say "everything works perfectly again" does this include Netflix, Hulu, and Prime Video? Those are the ones that are not working for me.
I had update 16.3 also, still have, worked a few hours. now I get picture then goes to pixelating, then whole screen disintegrates. still testing but frustrating.
Yes it's frustrating. To be honest, the AV Adapter has always been a pain. For $50 it should work flawlessly. I don't have any sound through Prime still and it "skips". HBO Max and recorded video are fine now. I see an app update for Prime Video this morning. Hoping that will help. I will test this evening.
