My daughter forgot her password and her phone is locked to owner how do we change her password to get back into her phone

If your iPhone is running iOS 15.2 or higher........(it appears that it might be).......you can use the instructions linked just below which will not require the use of a Mac or PC:

If you have a backup of the phone, you can use the backup to restore the data on the phone during the new setup.
If you have no idea what any of the things above mean, make an appointment to take the phone into an Apple Store so a "genius" can reset the phone and go over your options with you.
Might be a good idea to write down the new password and keep it in a safe place, so the next disaster can be avoided.
