stolen iphone

If someone steals an iPhone, it can be turned off immediately without a passcode or Face ID.

This makes it difficult to locate iPhone.

I think that should be fixed.

Hello,

That idea has been discussed many times and it was always determined to be a bad idea. I think that it was something about needing to turn off to save the battery.

Anyway, your options for a lost phone are included in this link:

If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch is lost or stolen

Good luck.
