Alarm sound

I have always had a song as my alarm. Recently my alarm has been going off to one of the default tones. It is super loud and obnoxious. I’ve updated my phone, deleted the alarms and reset them, changed the song, and it still will not work. My phone is also not in sleep mode. I don’t know how to fix this.

Hello sky930,

Thank you for reaching out to Apple Support Communities, and we'll be happy to help in any way we can. We understand you're having issues with playing your music as an alarm on your iPhone. You've taken great steps so far. Have you tried restarting your iPhone? This simple step resolves a multitude of issues: Restart your iPhone - Apple Support

1. Press and hold either volume button and the side button until the power-off slider appears.
The volume button is located on the left side of the device, and the side button is located on the right
2. Drag the slider, then wait 30 seconds for your device to turn off. If your device is frozen or unresponsive, force restart your device.
3. To turn your device back on, press and hold the side button (on the right side of your iPhone) until you see the Apple logo.

Does this occur with one song in particular or all songs? If you aren't sure, what happens when you test a different song? This will help us better isolate the issue.

We hope this helps.

Cheers!
