I just got iPhone14 pro having same issue. However enabling low battery mode retaining a bit longer. Any solution from Apple ?

This makes perfect sense if you are on a 5G network.

5G radios use a lot of power, not just on iPhones but on all phones.

Thank you for your response. My old phone didn’t consume this much so I am guessing it’s the 5G. I might turn it off and see how it goes.

There is an application doing that. Find the rogue and disable it.

If 1482 people (at time of writing) are experiencing this, then you must use the Apple support channel, and let the engineers there know about the issue. This is just a user community.

You won't get an answer when you submit feedback. It tells you that on the feedback page. You will get an answer if you contact support.

I had the same problem and solved it by turning off my second line that is international and only functions through wifi calling when outside the country.

Having the same issue as well and no answers from Apple on this. Don't know what is going on and why they keep saying this phone should have a better battery life than the previous phones when is not the case. I feel like I am using a galaxy phone. Just horrible battery life

Received new iphone 14 pro and battery drains to 20% by 3pm never ever had my 13pro got that low in a year of owning it ?

must be a huge battery defect form manufacture for sure...

I’ve noticed the same thing too. My battery on my 12 Pro was a lot better than this 14 Pro. I did notice after the new update came out that my 12 Pro was feeling it with staying good on the battery.

I have gone through and turned off everything that could drain this phone battery and same thing. I did notice when I was away from home turning on low power mode did help a bit but not 100%. Hoping Apple does something for this since I recently traded in my 12 Pro already.

My phone is a couple of days old. All of the transfers have been fully downloaded. Yesterday on the way back to the house, two our drive, It was almost dead after playing a couple of albums. Today, fresh charge, I woke up as usual around 6:15, checked email, social media and some news, set it down and got the kid around, made breakfast, coffee, etc. Went back to the phone and it was at 80%! I've already turned off a lot of features such as the always on clock, etc. Tonight after a short charge, had dinner sat down and it was dead and super hot! WTF is going on?!

I do not think that the always on display is the problem, even without this mode the battery discharges abnormally fast the problem is the screen ON and the adaptation. we can see when the screen is active the battery discharges directlyauto brightness
