iPhone 14 Pro Battery Draining Fast

Anybody have a clue why the iPhone 14 pro battery is draining like a Samsung? My 13 pro and 13 pro max battery was so much better.. I’m lucky to get through the day with the new 14 pro battery!! What’s going on? Is this because of the new always on display?

I own iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max. Battery life on both are nothing short of amazing. For example it is now going on noon. My 14 Pro Max has been off its MafSafe Charger, since 7:30 AM this morning and my remaining battery is 98% at this very moment.

If your battery is draining faster than you expect, you need to see what is using the battery.

Go to Settings > Battery and wait for the categories to populate. You likely have something running in the background you need to stop running.

You can also Force Restart your iPhone (something you should do routinely anyway) by following the procedure in this support document --> Force restart iPhone - Apple Support

You have really seriously bad charging habits, especially letting go to zero. It’s likely that you have killed your battery prematurely. And no matter what phone you get next, if you treat it the same way the same problems will arise. What does the battery health page say?

You should be charging overnight, every night, with Optimized Battery Charging enabled. But it’s too late for that now.

I'm seeing similar issues. After you did the restore and manual sync 1-month ago, have your issues been resolved, or did you do something else as well?

I'm losing 10% per hour and it's pointing to all sorts of culprits. However, turning them off does nothing and I've restored a few times as well, but restored directly from iCloud during that setup. It's fixed itself a few times, but has always come back. Most recently, I'm seeing the 'Contacts' app using 9.3Gb in the past 4 days on cell

I have had this same problem as well. Before my iPhone 14 pro max, I had the iPhone 11 Pro Max and I would still have at least a fourth of my battery percentage left by the end of the day but it seems like by 3 o’clock each day my battery is either dead or very close to dying. I’m not sure if it has to done with the Lock Screen staying on throughout the day (always on display) or what the issue may be. At first I figured maybe my phone was running things in the background and still downloading from the iCloud from my iPhone 11 that I switched from but after a week of the same batter issue I knew there is something different going on. Anyone have suggestions or know what could be the problem? Seems I’m not the only one with this issue…

With over 1.5 billion iPhone users no matter what problem you have you won’t be the only one that has it. And if it was the always on feature I wouldn’t end each day with 70% to 80% of my charge still available. In the 2 1/2 months I’ve had my 14 Pro I had only one day when my charge got down to 30% by the end of the day.

That's not necessarily an extreme battery loss.

Remember while your phone is "doing nothing" it's pinging and receiving pings from your local cell tower in case you receive text messages or a phone call, depending upon your carrier as often as once per minute or two.

3.2% per hour would come out to be around 31 hours of standby time which is rather good, and that's a straight calculation without the device dropping to Low Power Mode when charge falls below 10%.

Hi, FIXED FOR ME

Read the first 4 pages here, and everyone have the same problem I have…

My 11 pro was way better, could use it all day and it would be at 10-15% when I would go to bed. For 2 years!

Iphone 14 pro, had to charge it at noon… because it was down to 44%😂

FIX

Hard reset the phone and update it!

Did it yesterday and it has been amazing today!!

I just start using my 14pro and until my carrier send me emails that I’m covered for next 2 years about battery, there is an app that I can check battery Health etc. 3-4 days using I try it and show me that I have a battery problem then I notice, really it’s draining much quicker than my friends ones !and it’s 3-4 days old
