Apple Car play/Bluetooth

Jus got off phone with apple support for the same problem.. they are blaming the car.. lol.. i said the phone wont work with any cars and other iphones sound properly even in my car.. no idea.. regret the purchase already

Does it work using carplay without bluetooth?

If I use BT for phonecalls, even when carplay running (I don't know why and how, but sometimes happens!), the receiver audio is good. It's bad "just" using carplay without BT and with wire connection (I don't have wireless carplay).

I tried it in my Mercedes and called a few people. They all said the mic volume sounds great, just like before.

I know it’s only one example, but it seems fixed to me.

(with 16.0.2 I initially thought it was better because one person said it sounded better but then I had others tell me it still sounded like I was far away)

I agree , paying $1300.00 for these for them not to work right is ridiculous . I’m having the same issues with the 14pro. Besides people not hearing me their breaking up . If it’s not resolved soon I’m going to Android.

2020 Acura TLX - 6k miles

CarPlay‘s still having issues. I’m told that I still sound like I’m talking from the bottom of a well. Had yet another Acura service technician hook up an older iPhone and an Android and both are significantly better. The Android, I could hardly tell he was in my car.

At this point it’s just plain ridiculous that Apple can’t fix the issue

After update 16.0.2 still the problem ....

I updated and reset on the advice of an Apple tech. If anything, it is worse now. I think I need to go get an Android. This is crazy.

Yup. Me too. BMW. but I also see historically same issue every iOS smh

So frustrating!

My wife just got a new Land Rover and now she is having the problem with CarPlay- people on the other end of the line say they cannot hear her. iPhone 14 pro max with iOS 16.0.2..

From the posts you can see that the problem mainly concerns the MAX version.

Its more than just brand new vehicles. I have a 2018 BMW X3 and it is the same issue. Had no issue with my Iphone 11 either.

I have the same issue on an iphone 14 - it worked perfectly on the iphone 11.

No one can hear me when calling via carplay.

I’m having the same problem with my new iPhone 14 (not a Pro or Pro Max).

Guys I heard that an update will be out very soon in few day will fix this issue.
