iPhone won’t play in car

I have a 2102 Chevy equinox and my phone plays for 6 seconds and then cuts off. The “reading USB” stays on. When I disconnect it and then plug it in again it goes to my radio and I can’t play my music. It’s like it freezes and it keeps going to the radio. Even when I unplug the usb it still says “reading usb”.

This is a common thing with iPhone. When I had my iPhone 7pus for a few years, it started doing the some thing to. When I got my iPhone 11, it worked fine for a while and now it’s doing it to.
