If I have an erase request on my phone and the phone has been stolen and they wipe the phone, will the erase request disappear? Or will it just show as requested in find my iphone

I’m wondering if it’s wiped in person by the parties that stole it, will my pending erase request disappear?

Hello and welcome to Apple Support Communities, Mochamocha1234,

If we understand your post correctly, you have some questions about remotely erasing your lost or stolen iPhone. We’d like to help.

We see you were viewing "If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch is lost or stolen - Apple Support" which is a great resource for you if your iPhone has been lost of stolen.

Once you have remotely erased your device it will be erased as soon as it has an internet connection.

Please keep in mind what the article says about erasing:

"If you have AppleCare+ with Theft and Loss, do not erase your iPhone until your claim has been approved."

Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities.
