I often put my iPhone with a magsafe charger in the same pocket. Will doing this do permanent damage to the camera? Or is this always a temporary problem? As magnets can affect camera I would like to know whether it is safe.

Thank you for your reply. However this article is about the problem when magnets are currently near the iPhone. I want to know whether this camera problem caused by magnets is a permanent damage to the camera system or it would disappear when the magnets are gone.
