While trying to setup my HP travel printer I got a message, "Crossbow.framework" will damage your computer, now I can't get it off my screen. What to do and if I use this printer will I damage my computer?

Thank you for the information.

The HP OfficeJet 200 Mobile Printer Series is listed as supported in About AirPrint - Apple Support. An AirPrint-enabled printer can be used without additional drivers, provided that the printer and the Mac computer are connected to the same network (Wi-Fi router). That is, the printer would be connected to a normal (home/office) Wi-Fi network. Alternatively, if necessary, a small travel router could create a local Wi-Fi network.

How is your printer connected? Instead of USB, you could try the AirPrint technology. That would mean wirelessly connecting the printer to your Wi-Fi network first (http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05040380.pdf page 35).

Make sure that you have backup copies of all important files (documents, photos, et cetera) before proceeding.

Because of the problem described in your question, it may be a good idea to begin by uninstalling any previously installed printer drivers.

You may want to reset the printing system.

Reset the Mac printing system to solve a problem – Apple Support (UK)

Next, add the printer using AirPrint.

AirPrint does not require special software, but the printer manufacturer may provide an app for some setup and ink management purposes.

In case of a USB connection, drivers from the printer manufacturer would be needed.

Do not hesitate to post back if there are further questions. Good luck!
