Ghost touch issues on iPhone XS after iOS 16 upgrade

So I updated my fully functioning iPhone XS to iOS 16.0. After the update, i have to click twice to enter password. Also a single click or scroll does many random things. All of a sudden, the apps starts jiggle (like how we do to uninstall)

Restarted many times still no solution.

iPhone XS, iOS 16

If not, we recommend that you create one as described here: How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support

Then update your iOS as outlined here: Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

ry the remaining steps listed here to see if they resolve the issue: If the screen isn't working on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

"If your screen is too sensitive or responds intermittently to touch

  1. Restart your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Make sure that your screen is clean and free of any debris or water.
  3. Disconnect any Lightning or USB-C accessories. If your screen works after removing an accessory, try using a different outlet, cable, or charger.
  4. Remove any cases or screen protectors.
