Will Apple watch ultra bought in USA works with Indian carrier ?
So I landed in India on 28th morning and the first thing I did out of sheer curiosity is to connect my apple watch ultra bought in US with my Airtel mobile data and it WORKED......
Since I already had an apple watch series 4 earlier which was latched to the same mobile data plan so, so the watch gave an alert to call Airtel customer care to detach the older watch and then repair the new one with the standard steps using my iphone's apple watch app. So far its working like a charm. :) Hope you get the answer!!!
My Apple ultra watch - A2622 US model is not working on JIO maharashtra. Is any other Maharashtrian having same problem ? Or anyone from maharashtra has buyed the US model A2622 & working smoothly ? Please share which carrier . Thanks
Ohh! I am also from Maharashtra using Airtel and Jio prepaid sim and my ultra Watch is USA model A2622 only coming to India in January 23.
If both network providers saying we have no support right know so that means there is no sense to buy from USA ?
Hey, i am just seeing your replies here and felt like asking you directly for the issue, the thing is i am planning to get an apple watch ultra from USA, New Jersey, but will be going back to India in the January 2023. I had a discussion with the apple support before coming across this discussion here, they said that it won’t work for the cellular part of the watch but it ‘ may’ work with the notifications till the watch is connected with the same and is around the same.
I have an airtel number as well back in India, so according to you, you are using it cellularly in India with the same right?

I am trying to buy apple watch 8 series (cellular) from US... but i am not sure whether it works in india or not.. since i can see mixed opinion ( majorly a -ve answer in the internet).. Can you confirm this once again ? whether it works or not ? and also are you currently using any US bought watch?

It worked for my iPad, Apple iPhone and Apple TV HD… and Apple Watch Series 4…not sure why the service guy would not honour the warranty for you
Thats alright - I am not going to debate on that - for me it is working and may be for some reason it is not for you.
