MacBook Air 2018 built-in keyboard and trackpad stopped working

Hello,

My MacBook Air 2018 built-in keyboard and trackpad suddenly stopped working. I've reset the NVRAM with a bluetooth keyboard. I don't think I can reset the SMC without the built-in keyboard. Any suggestions before visiting any Apple repair center?

Usually when both the internal Keyboard & Trackpad fail at the same time it indicates a hardware problem which will need to be repaired.
