Hello popcourm,

It sounds like you took advantage of the temporary iCloud storage Apple Offers to help transfer data to a new iPhone.

If you tap on Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone is there any notice here about the temporary storage?

Tap on Settings > [your name] > iCloud > iCloud Backup. If you see the iPhone listed, tap on it. You may be able to Turn off backups from here.

Based on the information found at Get temporary iCloud storage when you buy a new iPhone or iPad - Apple Support, there is a time limit on the storage access.

Cheers.

Same issue here.

  • no, there’s nothing under Transfer iphone about the extra storage…. That section just invites me to get ready to transfer to a new iPhone again

  • under iCloud backup, I’ve deleted the temporary back up, I’ve turned off iCloud back up… it didn’t help and I’m still getting the notification multiple times a day that my backup has expired :(
