iPhone 14 Pro Max audio issues

after the purchase i have biggest problem with my iphone 14 pro is bluetooth, with apple watch, with car or airpods, loosing connection and music is getting loosing while playing. Unfortunately we do not have authorized shop in my country so i can not return. So disappointed

WiFi calls are so unstable. A few minutes into a call the WiFi drops, the phone switches to cellular, drops and the goes back to WiFi. The WiFi router is stable and this is occurring at home or at work.

I think there is a hardware issue as this has not been addressed with software updates

I watched a video.. haven’t tested it yet.. but had me do settings.. Face ID & passcodes… turn off attention aware features.. maybe they will help.. and if so let me know but probably will have tested it myself by then but let me know if it works

Hi! I don’t have CarPlay, but yesterday I needed to use Google maps to get somewhere, I could barely hear her voice! I had to hold the phone up to my ear, which I thought was probably a problem. If I ran into police, they would think I was using my phone and driving which theoretically I was doing, did you ever figure figure out why the sound is so low when you use like Google maps? Just reporting in here.... The issue appears to have gone away on it's own for me. NO idea why. I have not patched to 16.1.2 and now I am afraid to. I'm afraid I don't have more to offer, but, in the spirit of collaboration here, the issue has gone away and been gone for over a week now. Something changed...

Me too. When someone leaves me a voice text I can’t control the volume on playback over the phones speaker. It’s either super high or really low.

Also, AirPlay takes a long time to connect with my home pod speakers and also always drop when I try to use Safari on my iPhone.

Oh my gosh, I thought I was the only one! I could not hear her I could not hear her. I had to f**k hold the phone up to my ear the entire time I was driving just like you probably did! I have not received any kind of help on this whatsoever

The other problem I’m having is using Siri let me know if you have this problem. I use Siri alarm for text so when I click the Siri button or the microphone button, my texts are pretty long, but the microphone keeps going off so I have to keep hitting microphone. I will find myself talking and talking, but the microphone has gone off. I keep having to reactivate the microphone button to get either my email or my notes or my texts or whatever I am trying to do do you have this problem with your microphone for Siri not working properly I do have the same problem that you do with Maps! I couldn’t hear it whatsoever. It was like a whisper.

I’m wondering if you’re talking about Siri? I do have the same problem. The gentleman above did where he use maps and could not hear them whatsoever had to hold the phone to his ear, that’s one problem. The other problem is, I’m disabled, I use Siri for almost everything notes emails texts but my microphone keeps stopping and I have to keep tapping the microphone button to get my Siri to continue. It’s doing it right now it’s driving me crazy especially if I have to write something fairly extensively long like an email do you have this problem?

I am having the same problem with the 14 pro. When I’m on calls the caller sounds like they are getting louder then quiet. I keep moving my ear thinking I’m covering the speaker or something. When I put them on speaker it’s fine.

I literally just got my iPhone 14 pro max and I cannot hear anyone in n max call volume and they cannot hear me unless I’m in speaker mode. This is incredibly frustrating. I need a phone I can actually talk into and hear from privately. I was in the hospital today and had to have a conversation with my father on speaker phone because using non-speaker mode doesn’t work at all. Brand new phone, doesn’t work.

I have been having a problem with the audio where I realized that keyboard clicks and the lock sound are lower than usual I have owned XsMax and 11 pro max and both have had much higher sound so is that a hardware problem with my phone only? or it’s a software problem?

I have also experienced a glitch with the camera while using third party apps where the screen goes black for a few seconds then it’s would be normal as well as when I zoom there’s always a glitch, and I have never found such a problem while using iPhones for all these past years it’s frustrating so again I’m not sure is that a problem with the software or the hardware ?

Same issue with CarPlay - audio is flat and when you pump up the volume the audio sound remains flat. Not happy at all and not sure why Apple has not addressed as yet. Not the best operating system - just too full of bugs!!!!!!

My problem is similar. I don’t get good loud clear music from my Beats headset. I’m using Bluetooth and my old I phone 12 pumped amazing quality music through my Beats. I phone 14 pro max is going back if I can’t resolve this. Also it ****** me off that we are being forced to have low sound on something that is ours to enjoy. The safety nuts have overstepped their boundaries once again. I will enjoy my music loud !!!!

I am now keeping my I phone 14 pro max. I figured out how to solve my low volume issue when listening to music on my Beats headphones via blue tooth. The previous comment took us to settings, then music, then click EQ and check Late Night. This does increase the volume a little. To increase it more you go click settings, music, and then make sure Sound Check is off. Now I’m back to cranking my tunes!!!!

I am having the same issue when talking on the phone. I don’t use the features listed above so not sure about those but it is very annoying when trying to talk. I am continuously saying, “what”. My headphone feature is NOT turned on.

what else could be going on?
