iPhone 14 Pro Max audio issues

Today was the first instance of the sound volume dropping to extremely low levels while connected to Bluetooth in the car as well as 3 separate speakers in my home when trying to listen to Audible. The volume changes with the buttons but the sound does not increase and remains at the very low level. I ensured that all of the noise protections in settings mentioned above and the health checks were disabled, I rebooted my 14 Pro Max, rebooted the speakers and those actions did not resolve the issue. This is annoying and hope there will be a fix soon!

Yeah my iPhone 14 Pro Max adjusts the volume on its own up and down while I'm watching Facebook videos. At first I thought someone was messing with my bluetooth headset or maybe I was holding my phone weird but it's just the phone itself. Almost feels like being hacked but only volume is effected.

I’m having issues with not being able to use or pick up calls unless it’s on speaker mode. They can hear me but I can’t hear them. I must put on speaker

I experienced lost GPS signal issues again today and have intermittently dropped WiFi calls or patch’s of lost conversation.

i have had the phone for a month now and hope I can return it for a refund. It can’t even handle basics like making a phone call - one has to make numerous attempts with some calls having no audio but the timer is running?

seriously dissatisfied and disappointed.

where / how to arrange a cash refund?

I can hardly hear anyone that calls me in the car with the new iphone 14 pro max, apparently they can hear me fine. I need help as I use my phone for work in the car all the time. I am sure there must be a setting somewhere?

apple software is so full of bugs. Always announce ‘best’ but actually is ‘worst’

since the release of 16 version my mail Apple app number of message bubble notification on the app and library reflect different numbers per the attached (mail app 12 and library reflects 10?).

wifi calling with the iPhone pro max is unstable, whether using teams of FaceTime.

a real disappointment and will not consider Apple products in the future. I rely on call stability as that is a fundamental of a phone, apparently not for an iPhone?

after the purchase i have biggest problem with my iphone 14 pro is bluetooth, with apple watch, with car or airpods, loosing connection and music is getting loosing while playing. Unfortunately we do not have authorized shop in my country so i can not return. So disappointed

WiFi calls are so unstable. A few minutes into a call the WiFi drops, the phone switches to cellular, drops and the goes back to WiFi. The WiFi router is stable and this is occurring at home or at work.

I think there is a hardware issue as this has not been addressed with software updates

Am having the exact same issue. Phone worked good for about a month then all of sudden this issue has arose. Doesn’t seem to happen when plugged and in and fully powered but notice it gets worse as the battery life drops.

regretting my choice moving from a Samsung to an iPhone.

also tried the Face ID thing that the previous poster suggested and it doesn’t solve the issue.

Just reporting in here.... The issue appears to have gone away on it's own for me. NO idea why. I have not patched to 16.1.2 and now I am afraid to. I'm afraid I don't have more to offer, but, in the spirit of collaboration here, the issue has gone away and been gone for over a week now. Something changed...

Me too. When someone leaves me a voice text I can’t control the volume on playback over the phones speaker. It’s either super high or really low.

Also, AirPlay takes a long time to connect with my home pod speakers and also always drop when I try to use Safari on my iPhone.

Oh my gosh, I thought I was the only one! I could not hear her I could not hear her. I had to f**k hold the phone up to my ear the entire time I was driving just like you probably did! I have not received any kind of help on this whatsoever

The other problem I’m having is using Siri let me know if you have this problem. I use Siri alarm for text so when I click the Siri button or the microphone button, my texts are pretty long, but the microphone keeps going off so I have to keep hitting microphone. I will find myself talking and talking, but the microphone has gone off. I keep having to reactivate the microphone button to get either my email or my notes or my texts or whatever I am trying to do do you have this problem with your microphone for Siri not working properly I do have the same problem that you do with Maps! I couldn’t hear it whatsoever. It was like a whisper.

I am having the same problem with the 14 pro. When I’m on calls the caller sounds like they are getting louder then quiet. I keep moving my ear thinking I’m covering the speaker or something. When I put them on speaker it’s fine.
