After upgrading to iPhone 14 Pro Max email for known contacts goes to junk email folder rather than inbox in Apple mail app

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities! For emails in your junk mail that shouldn't be there, you can move them to your Inbox folder following these steps:


  1. Open the email from the junk folder
  2. Tap the share icon the Reply button
  3. Tap Move to Inbox

Doing this should allow future messages from the sender to go to your inbox instead of the junk folder. If it continues to happen, let us know if this is happening with iCloud mail or another email provider. Does it appear the same when checking your emails from web mail on the respected website? Knowing this will help us isolate the cause of the behavior.
