AirPods Pro 2 no Sound with Samsung TV -

How are you connecting your Airpods Pro 2 to the PS5? I don't beleive that PS5 supports bluetooth audio. Are you using a bluetooth adapter with your PS5? I tried connecting my Airpods Pro 2 to PS5 and couldn't get them connected.

Just connecting to the tv as before but while using the ps5 it seemed to hold the connection. Right after I posted that, the connection went bad and I had to reconnect but it lasted for about 5 or 6 YouTube videos filled with ads. I set the audio output on the ps5 and the tv to bitstream I believe

I'm not sure which problem ludex22 is referring to. It sounds like the problem with the AirPods showing up with "Find My" attached to the name. I still see the problem with losing sound completely when changing channels, changing apps, pausing and pressing play.

Unfortunately my solution is for getting the AirPods to get audio from the TV, not to maintain the connection. When I was experiencing the problems before my solution, I wasn’t getting any audio when I disconnected and reconnected.

I still am experiencing issues with the audio cutting out when I change apps as you mentioned. But at least now when I disconnect and reconnect, I get audio.

For me to connect to the TV is not the problem, the problem is audio is lost when changing channel or changing app within the TV, even though it shows as still connected.

I just got tired and return them.

Just got my new Airpods pro 2 gen. … and yes, got same problem, no sound whatever I do, tried on 4 sony tv’s, 1 philips and samsung. Tried everything from factory reseting to updating etc., even bought external bluetooth transmitter, nothing. 😢 I guess we need to create a petition like ppl did when butterfly keyboard appeared to be with defect on 2018 macbooks.

I just spoke to Apple but they are not really considering what Samsung is saying either. They’re requesting for me to repair my very new AirPods, but I’ll do it. I’ll give an update on if the issue still persists.

Is there any fix for this issue or if Apple gave an official statement about this issue?

I feel stupid after wasting my money on airpods pro gen 2. I was going to buy some gaming wireless headphones to have them on while playing PS5 instead I bought gen2 so that it could be upgrade for my apple products as well as i can even use them with my TV.

But this is so disappointing to face such a issue from apple.

Tried this a few times previously and sadly did not help me. By doing so it did remove the “Find My” within the AirPods Pro Bluetooth device name as you rightly pointed out, however the issue still exists just as before.

It’s certainly the worst Bluetooth device connection I’ve experienced to date.

Just found this thread and I’m having the same problem. I got my AirPod pro 2nd generation’s yesterday and they won’t play the TV sound through Bluetooth. I’ll get them to work for a second, but if I change videos, change apps or fast forward/ rewind it stops. This is so frustrating.

The problem here is the AirPods 2 will connect via Bluetooth to the TV but once you start using the TV remote, they will go silent. They will appear to be connected but no more sound.

I have the same issue with 3rd Gen AirPods Pro and multiple Samsung TV’s. Changing apps, changing channels or rewinding causes connection issues. Everything is updated. This is an issue Apple does not seem to want to take responsibility for. Has anyone resolved?

I disagree w my new AirPods pro2 I have no sound even when I control the Samsung tv volume w the AirPods. I see the volume change in the screen up 80 or higher when I push the volume button on my AirPods HOWEVER, Still NO volume at all to my AirPods to hear. I can even hear in AirPods when they connect the connect sound but no voice sound to watch tv comes thru my new expensive AirPods. Ridiculous

I guess I’ll just return mine.
