All photos disappeared

I have an iPhone 11 with 64gb memory. iOS software is 15.7 and didn’t update it to 16 because I was on 63.3gb memory used. Icloud is only 5gb which is full because I had older iphone. I had over 2000 photos and I today I have wanted to transfer them through iTunes. ITunes notified me there isn’t enough space to connect and backup. I wanted to go throught DCIM transfers but it said “The requested value cannot be determined”. After that iPhone froze with balck screen loading cricle and reseted with 0 photos in app. I went to storage and it showed 48gb of photos once, after that it all went System Data. How can I get photos back? Im so frustrated with this bs.

Dude u really troll? If it was in recently deleted photos the photos app WOULD still show the storage it took. Use your brain. I didn’t have backups because I didn’t plan to delete anything. Where did photos gone? How can I delete it when I didn’t went into photos?? Why nothing else is deleted? Instagram, Tiktok all that apps were still on the phone? I WANT TO CHECK FOLDERS OF 48GB SYSTEM DATA WHERE ALL DATA WENT. This is what I need not someone to tell me I should have bought 100GB of iCloud stroage to store your 4k photos and videos. Thanks. Stop trolling.

You cannot access the system data. as you didn’t try to access other information, it is not surprising that it still appears in your device. Something happened in trying to download images to your computer.

As for your most important data it is best to have 3 copies, made 2 different ways, with 1 copy kept offsite. Should disaster happen, you can then recover.

It has nothing to do with windows. It wasn’t even all the pictures I tried to moved throughout DCIM folders. It was only one large video containing few GB of memory.

Problem is with iPhone when it get to low storage it goes completely crazy. U can’t even turn it on because it’s gonna auto froze and reset it with deleting half of your data.

Its not good to have photos on your computer and phone. Maybe Putin can nuke your country and u all delete all your important data?? Its best to buy 5 laptops and store it in switzerland so u never lose ur most important data. Or you buy 1TB to make 15k copies so you can save photos and videos
