Recover Photo Library from Trash

I accidentally moved the Photo Library app and all the photos in it to Trash. I have not emptied Trash. When I try to drag the Photo Library from Trash I get message "you have to drag Photo Library out of trash."

One thing to try on an item in the trash is to right-click (or control-click or two-finger-click) it and choose "put back."

It's not clear what you meant by "Photo Library app." The Photos app does not contain any pictures-- it's just instructions on how to work with them. The pictures and edits and data are stored in the photoslibrary file, usually in your Pictures folder, or where ever you have choosen to put it.
