I am not tech. say and need simplest want to know simplest way to create and email 3.5k PDF using Scansnap ix500

scanning documents I need to scan some documents then email them to a PC user. I know the various ways to scan documents to PDF, but they are too large to send. So then I compress the files and then the image is no longer legible. Can anyone guide me to the best way to go about solving this? Thank you!

Send PDF from Pages via email. It seems that in the newest version of Pages the option to send a document as a PDF through mail in one step has been eliminated with the new interface. Can anybody confirm this? Is there a different way to do it? (NOTE: I do realize that I can export to PDF and then share via mail; it was just very convenient to do that all within the Pages itself.) Thank you

Why do PDFs attach as a document on Outlook email? Why do pdfs not attach as pdfs but as a document on outlook email? Thanks Paul [Re-Titled by Moderator]

You follow the ScanSnap directions for scanning to PDF, and then attach that PDF to a new Apple Mail message, whether by drag and drop or by using the Mail compose panel attachment icon.
