Clear history in a child account

I wanted to clear my son’s search history in the safari but its gray and I can't click it. How do I change it?

Have you checked Settings/Screen Time for any restrictions?

How to clear browser history on child’s phone when you have tried every solution that has been provided. The answer to YOUR question is yes- -yes, I have turned off all the restrictions to make changes. -yes, I did clear all website data -yes, I have cleared all cookies -yes, I have turned the phone off and on again afterwards yes, I have auto fill turned off Just as everyone else who has complained about this for the past 3 years, it remains grey and not chooseable when I try to clear browser history from safari. Why this is a such a problem is that in the past when my child looked up P**N on his phone (one of the MANY TIMES his restrictions magically turn themselves off- another problem for another day) NOW every time he goes to type in his browser search bar, THE OLD WEBSITES HE WENT TO APPEAR! If you struggle with an addiction and everytime you use the device you can fulfill that addiction on SHOWS you what you are trying not to see, it’s a problem. Yes, normally he has restrictions but I want to FULLY clear his history so he isn’t shown the old links or google searches he did before. APPLE- this is a years long problem for a multitude of people with NO solution that has worked. Answer our question and figure this out.

Deleting history problem Every since I was put into family sharing my Safari history has been greyed out and won’t let me delete the history. What do I do so I can delete the safari history?
