Portrait mode Freeze

My phone keeps freezing when i switch to portrait mode. If i open my camera in portrait mode my screen remains black, if I open my camera in photo mode and switch to portrait mode my screen freezes on the last blurry item it saw. Has anyone experienced this, it is so annoying!!

I have the latest IOS 16.0.2 and this is still ongoing!

Portrait mode freezes My wife's phone keeps freezing in portrait mode. Regular video or photo mode is fine but when you switch to portrait mode, if you change the focus from whatever it is when you move to it (from 1x to 2.5x or vice versa), the image blurs and then it freezes. You can swipe back to regular photo mode but the "view finder" will will be black. Only way to get control of the camera app back is to force quit the app then reopen. A reboot and a forced reboot doesn't solve the problem. She's on 16.2 but it was happening before - apparently a few months now and I'm just now being told. Any ideas?

Iphone 13 pro freeze on portrait mode on 1x My iphone 13 pro is freezing on portrait mode only on x1 and warming up. If I change x1 to x3 and close camera than reopen camera it works good until I click on x1 in portrait mode. I've done hard reboot, clean camera, erase all settings and etc. Looks like issue with software. Maybe someone faced with issue and found how to fix it? iPhone 12 Pro Max camera freezes in portrait mode My camera is freezing up whenever I try sliding over to portrait mode. I also noticed that when I pull down the drop down menu when this is happening the flashlight icon is flickering on and off rapidly. It is as if the flashlight is preventing portrait mode to work. Has anyone experienced this or have any idea of what to do? I’ve tried updating and a hard reset already.

Restart the device. That's it.
