Black Screen Game App

Anyone else get a black screen on a game

app when loading on an iPhone?

Thanks, but it's not the phone. It's an actual game app called Grand War that goes to black screen when loading.


All updates to the game have been applied. Anything else you can think of?


I do not wish to delete and restart the game.

Please try the steps as listed here: If your iPhone won't turn on or is frozen - Apple Support

  1. Press and quickly release the volume up button.
  2. Press and quickly release the volume down button.
  3. Press and hold the side button until you see the Apple logo.
  4. If your phone doesn't turn on, follow these steps to check your hardware and charge your phone. You might need to charge for up to an hour.
  5. If your phone still doesn't turn on, contact Apple Support.


Please use the steps here to update the app: How to manually update apps on your Apple device - Apple Support

  1. Open the App Store.
  2. Tap your profile icon at the top of the screen.
  3. Scroll to see pending updates and release notes. Tap Update next to an app to update only that app, or tap Update All

Thanks for verifying that information for us. Deleting and redownloading your game might be a step that's needed to resolve your issue. Just to be sure, we recommend to follow each of these steps:


1. Close and reopen the app
Force the app to close. Then open the app to see if it works as expected.
 
2. Restart your device
Restart your iPhone or restart your iPad. Then open the app to see if it works as expected.
 
3. Check for updates
To see if updates are available for the app, open the App Store, tap your profile icon, then scroll down to see if updates are available. If updates aren't available for the app, update the software on your iPhone or iPad.
 
4. Delete the app, then redownload it
Delete the app. When you do this, you might lose data that was stored in the app. Then redownload the app. Then check to see if the problem with the app is fixed.
