9-27-2022: QT ISSUE - BUMP.

A while back Toomas A. asked the following question, "Quicktime Choppy playback, Since upgrading to Big Sur my videos are playing back choppy. All these worked smoothly prior to the upgrade to Big Sur. How do I fix the choppy playback?"

I just upgraded a newly purchased iMac 4K Retina to OS Monterey, and I'm experiencing the same issues with QT (v10.5) playing MP4s! I don't have this issue on my older iMacs running Snow Leopard, and QT v10.0 with the SAME MP4 file!! I called Apple tech support a few times, and two Dudes told me they never had anyone call about this issue??????? It takes a LONG time to re-install OS Monterey, does everyone think that's the only fix? Any suggestions will be appreciated. I checked for software updates on this unit and there are none. - Tom K.
