forgot password

i was looking through my old stuff and came across my old iphone 5. i forgot the password, but i know that i took lots of family pictures on it. how can i either save them or change my password?

password My fathers new iPhone wants a 4digit password that was on an oldest iPhone but he doesn’t remember it and the other option is to delete some information that we don’t want that …what I can do ?
