Macbook Pro "16 2019 unexpected shutdown

Hi,

My 16" Macbook Pro (MacBookPro16,4) which has been reliable has developed an overnight fault. It randomly shuts down after a couple of minutes usage. When the shutdown occurs the laptop stops being responsive for a couple of seconds, no trackpad or keyboard input is possible, then the unit dies, accompanied by a fast blast of the fan.

Sometimes it will restart, sometimes I have to wait. Sometimes it will generate an error log on start up, sometimes it won t.

PRAM and NRAM has been reset, which has no impact.

I have run activity monitor and aside from msd_store (Spotlight Indexing) hogging the CPU, no process seems to be hanging up or causing undue stress.

The error log in terminal says error code -20 and -11 are alternatively responsible for the shutdowns. -20 is a OS bridge with the T2 chip. I can t find any info on -11.

Below are the headers of a couple of the error logs generated on start up.

It feels like a hardware issue. I have tried to regenerate the issue. Moving or gently shaking the machine to no avail. Does anyone have any other suggestions. The unit is out of warranty and I never got Apple care so I have a very expensive unit that I have owned for 18 months, that seems to have a terminal hardware issue, which may place it beyond economical repair.

Any advice or thoughts I d be very grateful
