imessage not sending on both physical sim and dual sim... this used to work

Hi Team - after updating to IOS 16.0.2 there appears to be an issue around sending imessage with both physical and esim.


This used to work where i could select either sim and send an iMessage - both my numbers are set up and registered for use with this.


Anyone else having this issue.

This has nothing to do with the iOS update. Always, please check your settings and activations.


To activate iMessage and FaceTime using your Phone number


First, check to know whether you have an SMS plan enabled at least for One SMS with your carrier. Contact your Carrier (Cellular Service Provider) the agency that issued the SIM to you


If your iPhone is used with a carrier not found in the wireless carrier articles, make sure you can send and receive international SMS. (One SMS Only)


If you can't turn on or sign in to iMessage or FaceTime - Apple ...
