Prior to iOS 16, Siri could be configured to read text messages without requiring phone to be unlocked. is this no longer possible? I can no longer find the menu pass to keep this feature, and there is no recent article or tutorial that clarifies it.

Thank you, but all of these settings are already enabled. Even text message previews can be viewed on the lock screen, but Siri will not read the content of the messages and tells you you must unlock the iPhone first.
