How long does an Apple Watch battery last?

I just bought an older Apple Watch 2 from someone and noticed it doesn't hold the battery charge very long. It was fully charged overnight and went from 100% down to 10% in about 4.5 hours. Is this normal?

Apple Watch SE at 89% battery capacity after 8 months. Seems Off. So I have had my Apple Watch SE for 8 months now and I have noticed that the battery capacity has dropped fairly quickly. My friend and I have had our watches for the same amount of time and theirs is still at 98%. Can someone explain why and tips if I should replace the battery or just buy a whole new watch later on?

No that's not normal,have the battery checked out at an apple store.

Apple says with average use the watch should last 18 hours between charges.
