Apple Watch SE at 89% battery capacity after 8 months. Seems Off.

So I have had my Apple Watch SE for 8 months now and I have noticed that the battery capacity has dropped fairly quickly. My friend and I have had our watches for the same amount of time and theirs is still at 98%. Can someone explain why and tips if I should replace the battery or just buy a whole new watch later on?

Do you charge your Apple Watch every night while you are sleeping?

Or do you wear your Apple Watch until the battery is almost empty. Doing this will quickly destroy the Li-Ion battery. Li-Ion batteries do not like being totally drained. They like it better if you use it for awhile and then charge it back up again.

I have a 4 and half year old Series 4 and it still lasts all day. The battery has 89% capacity after all these years and I expect it will last for a few more years until I get a newer Apple Watch. I do put my Apple Watch on the charger every night when I go to bed. It is very rare that I will be awake so long that the battery will drop down to the Red zone of charge.
