Question for updates applications

Dear apple,

First of all I would like to thanks to you for your batter service and great security facility . To be honest now I am a great fan of Apple and I love it. But now I am feeling a big problem just because of the poor version of Apple device.

I am Introducing myself frankly I’m not a rich person and I don’t have enough resources to buy a new device even right now the critical situation of global world.

My Question is just I’m using apple devices just a year and I’m facing lot’s of issue for the applications updates. Every month one application goes off just because of updates. Now few months before Xoom money transfer applications gone off ok I never mind but now today I saw the PayPal applications also goes off . Now left only Uber and some Social Necessary applications. I wish soon those also going to be close as soon as possible.

So now what can we do with those cell phones we have to throw it in dust bin or we keep it in the museum.

I expecting you are a blessing reply.

Thank you please.

We’re not folks that work for Apple, we’re other users like you.

iPhone 6 was released in 2014, tops out at iOS 12.

Support for newer iOS versions on iPhone 6 ended in 2019.

Among other limits, iPhone 6 has half the memory of what had been the oldest supported iPhone, the iPhone 6s.

iOS 16 is current, and requires iPhone 8 and newer.

It’s fairly common for third-party app vendors to support the three most recent versions. Other app vendors might extend back further, though that can both limit the enhancements which can be used, and can increase the app support costs.

There are no hardware upgrades, and your options for newer iOs are to remain with that iPhone 6 and with a decreasing number of apps, to directly request the specific app vendors continue to support or re-add support for older versions, or to acquire a newer (used, refurb) or new iPhone.

Any recent iPhone will be substantially more capable than an iPhone 6.
