Slow Data connection on iPhone 14 Pro Max on Verizon's network

So apparently, I'm not the only one who's experiencing issues with slow data connection on iPhone 14 Pro Max on Verizon's network. There are the iPhone 14 Pro Max users who are experiencing this as well. Is Apple doing anything about this, perhaps in the next update patch? I wonder if anyone knows..

RESOLVED: My brothers iphone 11 pro max had this same problem, we tried everything here, we both have a shared plan with TMOBILE but my iphone 11 doesnt have this problem, only on his. So we decided to try an experiment which seems to have fixed it:

  1. shut down phone
  2. remove sim
  3. turn phone on without the sim, retest wifi speed, seems to work with full speed again.
  4. shut down phone again
  5. clean sim contacts with an eraser
  6. put cleaned sim back in
  7. turn phone on, retested, all good! Full speed!

Hope this info helps you!

I’ve been having the same issue. My 5G data cuts out for 5 to 10 seconds 2 to 3 times within two minutes. I noticed this was happening when stationary or while traveling on the road. I went through Verizon’s tech-support and ultimately got it fixed after opening up a ticket, however the network specialist (USA based and not customer service) I spoke to could not disclose the proprietary information of what went wrong and how he fixed it.

I'm using an iPhone 14 Pro, and the data from my eSim es extremely slow and I don't know why. I used the same eSim and transferred it from my iPhone XS Max to my new iPhone 14 Pro. The data from my iPhone XS Max was extremely fast with my speed test showing it reaching up to 30 MBPS, but now, when I am in the same place the data on my iPhone 14 Pro appears extremely slow, and I only receive 3G rather than 4G or 5G. Hopefully, Apple patches this or improved this in their next iOS update.

I have a new iPhone 14 pro max that I got last week from xfinity mobile (runs on Verizon's network) and I have had horrible data issues. If I am out and about with the phone on the data over cellular it is unusable. It will drop calls. I will have 4, 5g bars and can only download at 5mbps compared to my iPhone 11 sitting right next to it one the older networking getting 80mbps. It will drop calls and say SOS until you turn the airplane mode off and on. I can not use car play unless I have downloaded the music as it will keep dropping the data and cut out. Only way I can reliable use it is on wi-fi. Last night I spent 4 hours with xfinity on the phone and no fix for the issue. I had to call from another phone as the call would drop and say SOS.

I'm having the same issue. I just spoke to AT&T about 30 mins of trouble shooting with 2 techs and they couldn't understand how it was possible. I know for a fact when I got my 14 Pro Max on Lauch day, I was getting over 30mb of speed... now I'm getting about 6 in the same location. Something is definitely up. My Apple Music buffers, web pages take longer than usual to load. Pictures on sites are blank or pixelated. At first, I thought I was being throttled but AT&T said I'd only used 2.7GB of data and it's not possible for me to be throttled until over 50GB. So... Please Apple communicate with the networks and sort this out.

Me too, I can’t play YouTube at the top of the screen and play Pokémon go too, it’s like the connection is too slow to do both, sometimes it can’t even load one app, like I can’t send raid invites in Pokémon go cause the friends list won’t load. My old XR could do this fine, I thought I was getting an upgrade but if I can’t do what I used to why am I using this phone. I had to trade the XR in too so I can’t even go back

I have the latest 14 pro max and it works great, I have the new verizon gigabit service at home. I runs everything in the house just fine (to include older iPhones and iPads) BUT will not stay connected to my 14 pro max.

went back to apple and they gave me two new phone (wife and I) came home same thing. It is only between these two devices.

spoke to apple tech support, they tried all the reboot stuff (no go) verizon turned off SON and it still happens, I have to cycle the Wi-Fi on and off on phone and it will reconnect, but only last so long. Neither side will admit they have heard of this problem. Apple Genius Bar have no clue.

this picture is what happens. Shows Wi-Fi signal at top, but No Internet Connection below that.
