I have a similar problem to someone who posted earlier (but no one has replied to them).
Some email texts received and read on my iphone 12 pro, show Chinese characters instead of English. When the email is opened on my computer, the text is in English (no Chinese characters).
Do you think my iphone has been hacked in some way?

Can you provide a screenshot of one of the emails with Chinese? It is probably an encoding problem.
It's not really Chinese, but what typically happens when the character encoding gets read wrong. Sorry, I don't know any way to fix it at your end. Do these senders use MS Exhange perhaps?

Thank you for your help! I really appreciate it. Please see the screengrabs attached. The first episode was 9/21/22 from DB and the second episode was 9/29/22 from ND - a different person but to the same email - my godaddy email.
