MSI Optix 321Curv Monitor

Im having an issue with this monitor on M1 Mac Mini, displays vertical lines, flickers during video playback, tried all ports HDMI, USB_C, USB-C to DP, nothing fixes the issue

but monitor works perfectly on PC

Mac mini 2018 or later

hmm… your M1 Mac supports 2 displays. 1 over thunderbolt, 1 over hdmi Both at 60 hz. Is this the monitor in question ? https://www.msi.com/Monitor/Optix-MAG321CQR.. it’ll do either DisplayPort 1.2 or HDMI 1.4… make sure your adapter is HDCP 2.2 compliant… if you’re using one… otherwise, call your local AASP ( apple authorized service provider) or make an appointment at your local genius bar, you might have to take it in for an evaluation… best case scenario, you might have a bad hdmi cable/ or non-compliant cable or adapter …, also bear in mind that macs don’t generally support FreeSync. If you hold down the option key while going to system prefs> displays… you should see some options including scaled for display and native for display… try native at 60 hz and turning off FreeSync on the monitor itself…so it’s Not the monitor… might not be the cable or adapter either… which means there probably is a hardware problem with the m1 Mac mini itself… so evaluation and service …
