Syncing Android Photos via Mac to iPhone

I recently switched from a Samsung to an iPhone 14 Pro Max. I couldn't transfer my photos via the Move to iOS app, so I decided to manually transfer them.

Today, I got my photos out of my Android device and onto my MacBook, then uploaded them to the Photos app on my Mac.

I tried searching (and even tried disabling and enabling iCloud Photos) to get it to sync but none of the pictures are appearing on my iPhone.

I have iCloud Photos on and I would like to continue using it. I am aware there is a way to manually sync photos, but iCloud Photos has to be turned off. Is there a way to sync my photos without turning off iCloud Photos? Thanks!
