iPhone stuck in iCloud restoration

I got my iphone 14 pro a few days ago and was restoring it from my most recent iCloud backup but i noticed it’s been stuck on restoring my books for almost 3 days (i have 5 books so it shouldn’t take that long) i tried restarting my phone multiple times but that didn’t help. I have an iOS update i need to do but it won’t let me update until the restoration is completed. i’m worried it won’t ever complete. any advice or answers to my problem?

If restore from iCloud backup failed - Apple Support -- Even though the title of this article doesn’t exactly match the issue you’re having, But it does point out some steps for you to try. Make sure your iPhone is connected to Wi-Fi and not cellular, and keep the device plugged into power.
