That “50.0.1” is the carrier settings version number. Your actual carrier name should be listed next to NETWORK. In the end, a carrier is the company that provides the cellular/mobile service to your iPhone. You pay your service bills to your carrier. Either look on the bill or on your carrier’s website to learn how to contact them.

Mr Finch can you please help me out? I seem to have the same issue with my iPhone 7 Plus l. It’s displaying no Sims restrictions & carrier 50.0 also network has Home next to it. I put my SIM card in the iPhone, which it’s originally was in a Samsung phone. I so need to get this going back up and running as I do work online. Anything you can do to help me out is greatly appreciated! Or anyone knows what to do in order to help me.

Most likely this was a fluke. Technology is complicated. Stuff happens.

Just because you replaced your iPhone with one from Apple, and it worked, that doesn’t really mean anything. You could have just as easily replaced your iPhone instead of demanding a refund, and everything would probably have been fine.

Apple has lots of issues, just like everyone else. I’ve had Apple representatives lied to my face on more than one occasion. One time, the rep made up stuff right on the spot. Stuff that was simply ridiculous. As a policy, Apple does not admit mistakes–which is of course absurd. Everyone makes mistakes.
