Hi I’m having a similar issue and hoping you can help I bought a used iPhone 14 with an eSim that is showing as Sim locked with no mention of a carrier and it says 55.0 where the carrier should be. I am super confused and have called multiple carriers trying to get it unlocked with no help.

But on trying to add an eSim, it says that the mobile network might be locked on to a carrier, and that I need to contact the "provider" (which I dont know) to unlock it.
If you don't know what carrier the phone is locked to, ask whoever you got the phone from.
Even if you do somehow determine to what carrier the phone is locked …
… as you’re not THEIR customer, they have virtually no incentive to assist you.
