Issue with accessing and restoring my phone after a routine screen change

I changed my iphone screen and the phone stopped accepting the password. I've downloaded the latest version of iTunes and tried to do recovery and the phone does not respond. It gives me on itunes after an hour of running that i need to enable access to my locked phone which does not make sense.

Disabled screen Hello. I don't remember my 4-digit pin I had set on my i phone 7, I am now locked out. It says to connect to iTunes. I did that and then it states to put it in recovery mode, and this is where I'm struggling, it won't do what it says it should be doing. It just turns back on and says "phone disabled connect to iTunes" Thank you

Take it back to where you had the screen changed for them to troubleshoot this problem.
