Live Photo

I used the Preserve Setting but Live keeps coming back on. I make photo books and I cannot use photos in live.

Live Photos lose their vibrancy when taking a screenshot or sending Hi all, I have a beautiful photo that was originally a live photo converted to a still image in the native Photos app. It appears that the ONLY thing I can do to this photo and keep it looking the same is duplicating it. Trying to share, make wallpaper, post to Instagram, and even screenshot results in the photo looking washed out and completely different. When I click the share icon I can see the photo change before my eyes. It is a very clear difference and when I look at the original photo and screenshot side-by-side, the screenshot looks completely washed out. Unfortunately I can't even post the photos to show the difference because of this issue. I have a screen recorded video that shows the difference but cannot upload a video to this forum. Any advice would be appreciated. I tried changing the "options" menu when exporting but it didn't seem to make a difference. It makes me really sad because this is one of my favorite pictures but I can't even make it my wallpaper without losing a lot of the magic.

Playing live photos in ios 18 When trying to play certain live photos in the photos app I get the error message: "Unable to Play Live Photo The operation could not be completed" I know that the live portion exists because I was able to download the .mov file from icloud and play it, but it won't play within the app for a subset of photos. Is there something I can do to fix this? Note: all my photos are stored in icloud and I have my photos set for the originals to be downloaded on my phone. iPhone 16 pro on ios 18.0/18.0.1

Live Photo stopped working on my iPhone I backup my live photo in google drive. After i download the photo, my live photo is not work. How can i get my live photo format back ? Thank you [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Settings>Camera>Preserve Settings.... the first two options = OFF, the 3rd = ON.

When done, restart your iPhone and test it.
