Final Cut: Content uploads come out overexposed

I think I accidentally messed with some settings somehow. Now when I add new videos/pictures into the Final Cut Pro timeline, they show way overexposed. How do I fix?

It sounds as if you may have put HDR media into an SDR project. What are the specs of the original media? Do you want to output HDR or SDR?
