My Apple 4K TV did not automatically switch to Daylight Time. How do I fix this?

• Be sure to set the location of the device correctly. Settings﹥General﹥[language and region] Region﹥.
• Be sure to set the date and time to Automatic. Settings﹥General﹥[ᴅᴀᴛᴇ ᴀɴᴅ ᴛɪᴍᴇ] Set Automatically﹥On.
• Verify the correct timezone. Settings﹥General﹥[date and time] Time Zone﹥[City name]. This would be grayed out (but with visible selection) if it can be determined automatically from the other settings.
• Don’t use a VPN to connect through other regions. That might mess up what it thinks of as your home region, including for determining the correct time.
• Keep your Apple TV box up to date. Update your Apple TV - Apple Support

Apple TV would get UTC time from internet NTP servers, then shift that on the device for the local time zone. The days of Daylight Saving Time beginning and ending would be pre-programmed to act automatically based on locality.
