Missing active app icon.

Hey, after update to watchOS 9.0 icons for active app disappeard. I used it a lot when I was listening to music, I used it as a shortcut from watch face to now playing app. Any way I can get them back?

Are you referring to the icon at the very top of your Apple Watch screen that shows the currently active app? This is displayed here: Status icons and symbols on Apple Watch - Apple Support in the "Icons for active apps" section. The article explains: "In watchOS 8 and earlier, the Now Playing icon appears at the top of the screen when you're listening to audio on your Apple Watch. In watchOS 9 and later, this icon doesn't appear, but the app that's playing audio appears at the top of the Dock."


So, this is expected behavior with the watchOS 9 update. You can certainly leave feedback on this functionality, if you wish. No one is better qualified to provide feedback about Apple's products and services than the people who use them. The following link will get you started: Product Feedback.
