MacBook delivery issue
I ordered a MacBook Air for my mom directly from Apple. When I went to unlock the courtyard on the morning of the delivery day (so I could sign for the package), I discovered that the carrier had already delivered it and had tossed it over the gate. (The carrier is an overnight service.)
Looking into this issue, I read online that Apple packs them extremely well, that they frequently get tossed about and dropped by carriers, and that it'll probably be fine. However, my mom is very worried about it and wants me to exchange it for the same model at the Apple store. (It's the base model, and they have it in stock.) Will they exchange it for us without a problem, or will they ask us to file a claim with the carrier, or...? My mom has OCD tendencies, so it's best I get her a different one. TIA.
