New iPhone 14 not receiving FaceTime calls

1. If you're using iCloud and Find My [device] on the device, sign in to iCloud.com/find or the Find My app on another device, select the device, and click Erase. After the device has been erased, click Remove from Account.

If you mean this step, I did this. Signed in using her Apple ID and her current phone is the only device shown.

1) I created a new FaceTime call using the email address. This worked.

2) In regards to cleansing the old phone and setting up the new one, I did the following:

I then reset the old phone to factory settings. It has sent been sent to my carrier for trade-in.

How can I ensure the phone number is attached to this phone/Apple ID? It seems to be but this FaceTime issue indicates otherwise.

I have reviewed that page. It’s the top result when you google a problem like this. Attached are all of the steps I’ve gone through.

I did all of the transferring using the automated setup. I removed her old phone from the Device list.

I can’t tell which way I’m connecting the phone via FaceTime. This is how the contact is listed:

Her email address associated with her Apple ID and her phone number.

Just to offer more info, if she calls me via FaceTime and I use that recent call to calL her back, it still

does not ring.

Yes, it is on. I’ve turned it on and off multiple times to test. As I mentioned, it can currently make outbound FaceTime calls but does not ring when I attempt to call it.
